Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation Policy explains the rules for cancelling accommodation and safari bookings. It helps guests clearly understand the charges that may apply if a booking is cancelled. Transparent policies build trust and allow travelers to plan their wildlife trips with confidence. Guests are advised to read the policy carefully before confirming any reservation. Once a booking is confirmed, it means the guest agrees to the terms mentioned below.

Important Note About Refunds

For all confirmed bookings, only credit notes will be issued against cancellations. Direct cash refunds will not be provided. A credit note means that the value of the cancelled booking can be used for a future reservation with the same service provider. This system helps both the guest and the service provider manage bookings more effectively. It also ensures that guests do not lose their entire booking value if they cancel within the allowed time frame.

Accommodation Cancellation Policy

Accommodation bookings include stays in resorts, lodges, or hotels connected with wildlife safari trips. Cancellation charges depend on how early the booking is cancelled before the check-in date. The earlier a guest cancels, the better the chance of receiving a higher credit amount.

Cancellation 60 Days Before Check-In

If a guest cancels the booking 60 days before the check-in date, they are eligible for a 100% refund in the form of a credit note. This means the entire booking amount can be used for a future reservation. Early cancellations allow the property to manage availability and rebook the room for other travelers.

Cancellation Between 45 to 60 Days

If a booking is cancelled between 45 and 60 days before the check-in date, a 15% cancellation charge will apply. The remaining amount will be issued as a credit note. This rule helps balance flexibility for guests while covering administrative and reservation costs.

Cancellation Between 30 to 45 Days

When a cancellation is made between 30 and 45 days before check-in, a 30% cancellation charge is applicable. The remaining portion of the booking amount may be issued as a credit note. At this stage, accommodation availability becomes limited, so partial charges are necessary.

Cancellation Within 15 Days or No-Show

If the booking is cancelled less than 15 days before the check-in date, 100% cancellation charges apply. The same rule applies in case of a no-show, where the guest does not arrive on the scheduled check-in date. In such cases, the full booking amount is retained because the room remains reserved for the guest.

Safari Booking Cancellation Policy

Safari bookings follow strict regulations set by the Forest Department authorities. Once a safari permit is booked, it becomes non-transferable and cannot be cancelled. Therefore, no refunds or cancellations will be provided for any safari bookings. This rule applies to all wildlife safari permits because they are issued through government systems and cannot be modified after confirmation.

Why This Policy Is Important

A clear cancellation policy helps maintain fairness for both guests and service providers. Wildlife tourism operates with limited availability and strict government regulations. By following these rules, guests can make informed travel decisions while businesses can manage bookings efficiently.
